About our Insurance Services
Thamesbank Insurance Services are an independent intermediary authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.The FSA is an independent watchdog that regulates financial services; they require us to give you the following information so that you can be sure that our services are right for you. We offer general insurance products from a wide ranging panel of insurers in which we will advise and make a recommendation after we have assessed your needs.

Our Charges & Fees
Unless otherwise stated all new business and renewal premiums offered are inclusive of an arrangement fee of up to £40.
Making a change to a policy: £20.00 (in addition to the insurers own charge for the policy adjustment).
Issuing Duplicates Documents: £15.00
Administration of a Dishonoured payment: £15.00
Arranging payment of premium by instalments £10.00 New Business / Renewals
Arranging payment by premium finance (via Premium First) 14% charge of annual premium less the deposit

Note: A separate finance agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 will be provided to you containing your rights.

Policy cancellation : SEE YOUR CANCELLATION RIGHTS BELOW.
Please note in the event of cancellation our service charges are non- refundable.

Your Duty of Disclosure
It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information when taking out a policy. You must also inform us of any changes to your policy details during the life of the policy including at renewal. If your policy is based on incorrect information your insurance may be invalidated and claims not paid. Please therefore ensure you read carefully all policy documentation sent to you and inform us immediately of any incorrect details shown.

Your Cancellation Rights
You have certain rights of cancellation within the first 14 days of the policy and these are shown in each insurers policy documentation .Provided you have not incurred any claims during that period the insurers will pay a pro-rata refund of premium subject to a minimum charge If you cancel after 14 days the insurers will charge for the cover used in accordance with the cancellation conditions of the policy. In both instances and in order to cover our own costs an administration fee of £20.00 will also apply. Please note it is the responsibility of the policyholder to settle any outstanding arrears which may be owed under a premium finance agreement. We do not refund commission.

Tacit Renewals
We will send all customers a renewal invitation letter 21 days prior to the expiry date of the policy confirming the new annual premium and monthly instalments. Please be aware that if you have chosen to pay your premium on finance by direct debit this year, subject to the insurers being prepared to offer renewal your payments will automatically continue to be taken from your designated account, unless otherwise advised or you contact us prior to the expiry date of your policy.

If you have a complaint
Should you have any cause for complaint please contact our Customer Complaints Manager ( Mr Michael Hoepelman) in the first instance in order that the situation may be resolved to your satisfaction.If you remain dissatisfied you may be able to refer your complaint to the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN SERVICE.(a full copy of our company complaints procedure is available on request).

Premiums Received
Your premium paid to us is held by us as an agent of the insurer.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations in the event of a claim. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.

Data Protection
Under the data protection act all personal information about you will be treated as private and confidential.

Law
The laws of England and Wales govern this agreement and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
